Boston STEM Summer Camps add new Summer Camp programs
Empow Studios adds to its Boston summer camp offerings for 2019
Boston, MA – After running successful STEM education camps in Boston since 2016, Empow Studios educators will return to the Old South Church in Boston’s Back Bay for another summer of fun and learning in 2019. “As a partner with Boston Public Schools, Boston Public Library, and a number of private institutions, we’re excited to offer year round STEM programming including our expanded summer camps in Back Bay,” says Empow’s Executive Director of Marketing Dave Gutierrez.
Empow Studios, which has studios in Lexington and Newton, also runs classes in conjunction with the Boston Public Schools, the Boston Public Library branches, Kingsley Montessori, Torit Montessori, the British International School of Boston, and more.
The week-long summer STEM camps, that have expanded Empow’s existing camp network, are geared towards students ages 7-14 and focus on subjects ranging from robotics, 3D printing and coding to stop-motion animation, architectural design, audio engineering and Minecraft. Campers complete collaborative challenges throughout the week, earning achievement badges that level up from white belt to black belt, and go home with project files to be shared with family and friends.
