Winter Clubs & Classes Schedule Released

Empow Studios Looks Ahead to Winter 2020’s Program Schedule

This season, new STEM offerings bolster an already diverse array of clubs and classes.

Lexington, MA; Newton, MA— Winter is approaching in a hurry, which means that Empow Studios has released the new Clubs and Classes schedule for their winter 2019-2020 offerings. And, as always, Empow conducts these programs from their equipment-stocked, state-of-the-art Lexington and Newton studios during both the weekdays and on weekends.

What’s different this year? In addition to stalwart offerings like Video Game Design Club, Python Coding Class, and Robotics Club, Empow has added a slate of newly-created classes, including an Animatronics Class (using LEGO EV3 Robotics), Arduino Circuit Design, Coding Expeditions, Learn to D.J., Digital Art & design Club, 3D Arts Class, and Advanced Minecraft Class: Redstone & Command Blocks.

Just like technology itself, Empow evolves quickly. Our programs must be on the forefront of STEM learning, and offering a diversity of new options in tech education is one way to do that.

Clubs at Empow are recurring programs that run with rolling admission and are designed to accommodate all skills levels and a wide range of ages; kids can enroll anytime and explore meaningful STEM curriculum and projects at their own pace.  Classes allow students to kickstart and improve upon their tech skills through a multiple-week class.  Generally aligning with typical school-year terms, students are grouped in these classes by skill level and move through curriculum and projects at an equitable pace for everyone.  Both of Empow’s studios have an array of scheduled clubs and classes scheduled and are ready to take registration.
