Class runs 1/30/20 – 4/2/20 (No class 2/20/20)

You might have seen a 3D printer, but have you ever created your own 3D model? In this class, students develop their spatial and artistic abilities while using modern tools to create printer-ready 3D models through design, modeling, and sculpting techniques. Kids learn modeling by starting with a base mesh, and finish with a fully realized sculpture. All students will be able to print a select number of 3d prints (usually 1-2) to take home.

Tools used in this class:

  • 3D Modeling – TinkerCAD
  • 3D Sculpting – Sculptris
  • Advanced 3D Design – Blender (a bonus only if class progresses quickly)
