Members in DIY Electronics Club will learn the fundamentals of circuits and electronics and will explore, design, and build their own gadgets with LED lights, DC motors, vibration motors, piezo buzzers, and other components. Projects will include using LED lights to light up a DIY sword or other object, using DC motors to make coffee stirrers, hand held fans and electric sharpeners, and using light-dependent resistors (LDRs) to activate gadgets like musical cards or motion-activated trip-wires. Students will interface a variety of sensors with Arduino in Tinkercad Circuits and learn programming and testing using serial monitor. They will design their own gadgets to prank friends, apply to their next science project, or to make the world a better place! See what your inner crazy genius can come up with!
