Hulafrog names Empow as a STEM class destination
LEXINGTON, MA
The Boston Metro area has a variety of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) classes to choose from. To help parents navigate the options, Hulafrog, a free online guide to local events and activities for kids, recently sent out its ‘Hot List’ of Super STEM classes.
“Several times a month we send out a Hula Hot List, featuring everything from Summer Camps to where Kids Can Eat Free,” notes Suzy Ramsey, Managing Editor of Hulafrog Burlington-Winchester. This month, Empow Studios edged out others on the STEM class ‘Hot List’ to rank number two behind the ‘Lexington Singapore School for Math.’ “This is strictly editorial, and not advertising related,” adds Ramsey, who notes that Hulafrog is read by parents throughout the region. Those who visit the site are encouraged to ‘love’ the businesses they support.
“It’s great to see STEM activities in general continue to receive recognition from Hulafrog, and we’re very happy to be included in this list,” says Empow Studios founder Leonid Tunik.
Empow Studios is currently enrolling students in its After-School Club program in Lexington. It also offers one-day NanoCamps, weekend clubs, birthday parties, private lessons, and it is expanding its FIRST® LEGO® League (FLL) program with additional teams. FLL team practices began on September 3rd. During school vacation breaks and over the summer, Empow offers Tech & Design and Minecraft Camps around the Boston Metro area.
